Latin America is experiencing the highest political polarization in recent years and among the countries in the region Colombia is the most polarized.*
Political polarization in Colombia destroys our social capital, weakening trust among citizens and eroding the sense of community. This creates a ripple effect on our government institutions, which are impacted by distrust and political instability.
Polarization consecuences:
● Drives away investment ● Increases violence● Segregates our communities ● Creates barriers between social groups, fostering division instead of unity.
This ultimately hinders the progress of our nation.
